Master version
This was the first time I worked on a P/S project. The project was lead by new ACD Hoa Nguyen with a copywriter and me. We had Huong Lien as the account director leading the operation of this job and Nhi Trinh as senior account.
The project was to feature P/S expert and Huy Tran - a famous chef on social, a public figure of cooking food and camping traveller. We had a version of 16:9 and a version of 9:16.
After brainstorming, we came up roughly with 2 ideas for storylines which we would need to collaborate with 2 visualizers at the same time to meet deadlines. Therefore, we contacted with Chan Viz and Phung Tran - who was our favorite illustrator for storyboard. This time, we only needed sketch board, no colored board or stilomatic. But, just for a better understanding, the boards would need some references for illustrating purpose.

They quickly helped us to craft some very first frame to illustrating our ideas - like thumbnails, just to understand quickly the story we wanna tell.

However, we need another storyline option which was more direct to the realistic benefit of product and better engaging between KOL and the expert right at the beginning of the video. Therefore, we tried another option with the great support from Phung Tran.
More commercial and direct approach with new storyboard
After getting agreement from brand team, we contacted with Oksis production house for a list of available directors. We finally chose director Tam Bui for this project. He even used a Bold robot arm on set for us, although this project was considered as a low-budget one.

Shooting board from director
The brief was quite short and straight-forward cause I think this project had do be that simple. Just not trying to make it more complicated than itself. The shooting was oke, nothing out of the blue. Sis Amy Pham, our ACD Hoa Nguyen were incharged of the day while sis Huong Lien and I were quite packed with some issues from Omo Capsule project. I remember we got a direct call with post-house from Greece for those issues. Not an ideal place for a call like that. As always, although I was not incharge mainly for the shoot, I loved to be on set early for overall check.

Within the process, I was also incharged of creating super (COV) for the video. That's where the “fun” always begin. It's all about options.

It was quite a smooth project to work on. Although we were grouped together from different teams, the atmosphere was comfortable and mostly positive.
