START OF SOMETHING NEW.

WGH7+GQ4 Campville Dalat, the location where my proposal happened. It was a nice place with marvelous mountain view, friendly & helpful staffs. But, a grande but, it was hard for us to have a good sleep with strong winds here.

A real proposal, not the one that I normally conduct for living. This is where I want to share the story of something I call “New start of everything".

After 10 hours of riding from Saigon to Dalat, we first arrived at Sia Cottage Dalat (26 Gio An St., Ward 5, Dalat). The place welcomed us with a beauty and peaceful tiny cute western style garden. Walking through this garden helped to release us from dust & pressure of our working life. How adorable it should be to imagine our life later. Behind the garden, the friendly butler carrying our bags slowly showed us our wooden room. It was a cozy and warm tiny wooden attic with one bedroom, one bathroom and a small living room also.

Next morning, before we checked out for next stop which was the main location of my plan, we wandered around Dalat center for local breakfast and coffee. Before the trip, my wifey alrealdy wrote a list of her favorite places. Everytime we arrived at a location, I could realize how happy she was. Looking at her smile and reactions truly cheer me up.

We arrived at Still Cafe on her list. This is a complex place where they have coffee shop, accesories shop, cloth shop, etc. together in one place. The reason she wanted to visit this place because of a big Totoro statue, placed inside the garden.

She was so happy to finally see that Totoro statue. However, the place was so crowded, full of people trying to have their photos with the Totoro. She told me to leave for other places on the list with sad face. I tried to convince her to stay and wait for a while.

We then moved to another location, where was a trendy place in Dalat for shooting, with those iconic yellow architectures. Full of people wandering around that spot to have their photos. She wanted it too.

After that, we went back to our homestay to checkout and moved to our second stop in the plan, The Campville Dalat. The location was quite a bit far away from city center. It was wild, not quite peaceful with those strong windy blowing. The staff walked us to our tent. Never know that night, we could not sleep because of the wind.

The girl needed to work a bit before going out for dinner. What a chill location for working with a nice landscape of mountain right in front of your laptop.

After a while, we started to ride back to the center city to have dinner at Mot Bua Thom, a western style restaurant. Lucky for us, the place was quiet cause we were their first customer. It seems like this restaurant is not a hot place here.

I had booked our reservation back in the afternoon. The staff was professional and kind enough to decorate our table. It was beautifuly done.

We totally were in love with the food here. Well cook with a decent price, together with professional service. That would be a 10 out of 10 for this place.

It took us around 30mins to went back to the Campville. Then, we suffered with those strong wind blowing toward our tent. It was so intense. Then the time came.

Happily waking up with a new stage of our relationship, I walked her around the site and tried to capture her moments then on our way back to Bao Loc, her hometown to visit her papa.
